Anyone here have any kinks that have been either specifically inspired or ruined by shows like Criminal Minds?
Inspired: The Alpha Hotness of Hotch when he's beating the crap out of bad guys. The one going around in clips is the one where Hotch takes off his jacket and his tie in preparation to kick some threatening convict ass in "Damage", when he was already tense from being served divorce papers. It goes all the way back to Season 1 though, in "The Tribe", his sleeve half pulled up, he took down a cult that was going to gun down a school with a baton an his fists, it was so...shiver me timbers, watching him stalk them and take them down one by one in a dark, like a very graceful and deadly predator.
Restrained Violence? Controlled Violence? Is that a kink? That I love how dark Hotch can be AND how well he controls and wield it? His wife serves him divorce papers, and he gets this, where he seem to relish the chance to beat the crap out of someone, not her though, because he doesn't want to be his father, but the hurricane is there. It's so wrong, but I like the dark AUs where Hotch goes dark and Haley doesn't leave, but I would have liked it better if it was more Gone With the Wind.
Ruined Kink: To be restrained and very very very MILDLY electrically shocked. Dry autumn, I get plenty of static surprises, it's not, entirely bad, although it's definitely shocking. This is currently completely ruined due to the association with The Butcher, who electrically burned one of his victims beyond recognition, plus the pedo theRapist in the doll people episode who used it to further torture his victim into silence. Yikes.
