I like the idea of having another place to check the prompts without having to scroll through all of them but I have a problem. Today I posted my first filled prompt and while I was checking to see if new ones were filled I saw that the one I filled had disappeared. I checked this thread and found out about this page with all the prompts and saw that mine was here. So my problem is that I don't get why you had to delete what I had filled? First because when people look for prompts, either to read or filled them they go to the main page, not the other ones, so how are they gonna find out it those prompts were filled if they don't appear in the main thread? And for me, I kind of don't want to fill another prompt if what I write isn't gonna be where I posted it after a few hours.

Maybe it happened just to me but seeing so many prompts and no response to them kind of make me not want to keep scrolling through the other ones.

What? I'm confused, could you please link? So far, I have only deleted
1. Dub-con prompts that have been posted to 5B Safe Space by accident, I catch them early enough that there are no replies, and I move them to 5A
2. Non-con and dub-con prompts that have no warnings, I delete them and promptly repost them with warnings (Note: If the entry starts with Fuck Or Die, I think it's a clear dub-con warning, I'm talking about the kinda prompts that is long, and several sentences in, BAM, dub-con/non-con.)

Could you give me some description of what has been deleted? And since there are several post now, when referencing this post or that posts, link please? The "Fills Post" were made with a request by some anon who wanted it, I intend for authors to post links to where they have filled the requests.

Yeah, that's the kind of stuff that kills kink memes. Watchmen Kink is still going because they have a directory community so that people can find the prompts that appeal to them right away, I'm hoping to set up the tech enabled lazy person version with the google search. In the meantime (since it takes a while to show up), if any one is trying to find something, ask me, since every comment made on the prompt is instantly emailed to a folder I have set aside in one of my email accounts, and the inner search engine is sharp!

Part of me combating this problem is the way I advertise the meme, every other comm every other day: 1. I don't flood everyone's friend list at once. 2. I keep the meme alive because when I ad it in say, a Morgan Reid commm, I add in links to Morgan Reid prompts.

There are actually quite a few fills now, especially Morgan/Reid, check Pinboard.

Again, when this happens, could you please be more specific? I'm getting all the comments mailed to my inbox, which is how I got this current comment, but I need to know which you are referring to!!!

Well, two things could have happened

1. LJ does this thing where comments take a while to show up even after it has showed up, for example, you post, it takes you to a page like 5678.html#4273484 and you see the comment, but then when you go back to 5678.html, it's not there, yet. Although this could also be a browser weirdness thing. I also note that new comments I could see while logged in isn't showing when I log out.

2. Spambot. Lots of lj now, including criminalxminds (but excluding ontd_political which uses a lot of links), if you post an outgoing link, your comment gets auto screened, but that shouldn't happen here because I disabled the spam setting!

Could you tell me what your prompt is so I could check my inbox for it?
